Industrial Injection Gives Away an 800HP 12-Valve Cummins at Laytona 250

The first-ever Laytona 250 was not your average race weekend.
Hosted at Robby Layton’s new Laytona Motor Speedway in Ephraim, Utah, the inaugural event brought together builders, racers, creators, and fans for a weekend full of dirt, chaos, horsepower, and good old-fashioned automotive entertainment.
Industrial Injection was proud to be the presenting sponsor of the event — and we brought something a little different for the winner.
Not a trophy.
Not a plaque.

A Race Prize Built for the Next Project
At most races, the prize goes on a shelf. At Laytona 250, the prize was built to go under the hood.
The winner of the event received a complete 800HP compound turbocharged 12-valve Cummins built by Industrial Injection. For any diesel enthusiast, fabricator, shop, or builder, that kind of prize is more than a reward. It is the start of the next build.
That was the question we asked throughout the weekend:
What would you build with an 800HP Cummins?
The answers were exactly what you would expect from a field full of racers and creators — part serious, part ridiculous, and all built around the same idea: horsepower makes people dream bigger.

Dustin Hembury Represents Industrial Injection on Track
Industrial Injection’s own Dustin Hembury also hit the track in a car representing the company.
Dustin spends his week around serious diesel parts, engine builds, machining, and performance. At Laytona 250, he traded the shop environment for dirt track chaos and put Industrial Injection right in the middle of the action.
The result was a weekend that felt exactly like the diesel and automotive world should feel: loud, dirty, unpredictable, and full of people who genuinely love building cool stuff.
More Than a Sponsorship
For Industrial Injection, Laytona 250 was about more than logo placement.
It was a chance to support a new event, connect with builders and creators, and put a real Industrial Injection engine in front of the people who understand what it could become.
That is what made the 800HP Cummins giveaway such a strong fit. It was not just a promotional item. It was a real engine, built for a real future project, going to someone who could turn it into a story.

We followed the event, talked with drivers, checked out the cars, followed Dustin’s race weekend, and asked the big question:
If you won an 800HP Industrial Injection 12-valve Cummins, what would you build?
