Industrial Injection 5.9L 12 Valve Cummins Stage 2 Ported & Polished Cylinder Head with Fire Ring Grooves (1989-1998)

The Industrial Injection Stage 2 Ported & Polished Cylinder Head is designed for 1989-1998 Dodge Ram 5.9L 12 Valve Cummins engines that demand increased airflow, enhanced durability, and superior head gasket sealing. Fully CNC ported and hand-finished, this high-performance cylinder head is built for towing, street performance, drag racing, and sled pulling applications where airflow and reliability are critical.

Featuring an intake shelf machined off to accept a performance intake runner, this Stage 2 cylinder head is optimized for maximum airflow and cylinder efficiency. Advanced CNC porting of both the intake and exhaust ports ensures consistent airflow across every cylinder, while precision hand blending provides a smooth, high-quality finish for improved performance and drivability.

Each cylinder head is assembled with premium stainless steel nitride-coated valves, hardened alloy valve guides, top hat valve seals, and upgraded 150lb valve springs to provide exceptional durability and valve train stability. Radius-cut fire ring grooves are machined into the head to provide enhanced combustion sealing when used with a compatible fire ring head gasket, helping reduce the risk of head gasket failure in high-boost applications.

To further improve reliability, drilled and tapped steel coolant freeze plugs replace the factory press-in plugs, eliminating a common failure point found in OEM cylinder heads. The 7mm injector bore design provides compatibility with popular injector upgrades, making this cylinder head an ideal foundation for both street and competition builds.
