What is a “disaster kit” for the 6.7L Power Stroke?

A disaster kit is a bundled set of the most commonly replaced high-pressure fuel system components after a major fuel system failure or contamination event. This kit is designed to help you repair the system correctly and get back on the road without piecing parts together individually.

What failures is this kit intended to repair?

This kit is typically used after a high-pressure fuel system failure that sends debris through the fuel system, or after severe contamination (water, gasoline misfueling, rust/metal particles). If metal or contamination has reached the rails/lines/injectors, replacement is often required.

Does this kit include a high-pressure fuel pump?

No. This version is a No Pump kit. The high-pressure pump is sold separately. This is ideal if you already have a replacement pump plan or your pump is being replaced under a separate process.

Will this fit my 2023–2026 6.7L Power Stroke?

This kit is built for 2023–2026 Ford 6.7L Power Stroke Standard Output applications including F250, F350, F450, F550, Chassis Cab, and Narrow Frame configurations.

Standard Output vs High Output — how do I know which one I have?

Ford offered different calibrations/outputs depending on model and configuration. If you’re unsure which version your truck is, check your VIN, factory build info, or confirm with your dealer/tuner before ordering. Ordering the correct kit matters for proper fit and operation.

Do I need to replace the fuel tank, lines, or lift pump too?

It depends on the failure. If the system has metal/debris contamination, a full clean-out is critical. Many repairs require tank cleaning, replacing filters, flushing/cleaning low-pressure lines, and verifying the supply side before installing new high-pressure components. If contamination isn’t fully addressed, it can damage the new parts.

Do I need tuning after installing this kit?

In most “stock replacement” repairs, tuning is not required. If your truck has aftermarket tuning, fuel system modifications, or additional fueling upgrades, confirm requirements with your tuner before installation.

What warranty comes with this kit?

This kit includes a Two Year Unlimited Miles Warranty. Warranty coverage requires proper installation and a clean fuel system. Contamination-related repeat failures are not prevented by new parts alone.

FULL CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN WHEN: 

In order to receive full core credit, your core(s) must be returned within 90 days from receipt of order. It must be as is “off the engine.” Full core credit will be given if core meets acceptance criteria. Cores that are damaged during shipment to Industrial Injection are the responsibility of the customer and their shipping company.

½ CORE CHARGE CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN WHEN:

  • Slightly damaged housing or camshaft
  • Missing parts such as FCA

No Core Credit issued when:

  • Core is seized or hydraulic head is cracked
  • Excessive damage ( Heavy use of Bio-diesel and rust are common causes for unacceptable core)
  • Core is fire damaged
  • Core is returned after 90 days/3months

Please do the following when returning a core:

  • Make sure you have removed all fittings from your old unit
  • Drain all fuel and oil from unit
  • Package cores so that fuel and oil does not escape from the package

NOTE: packages that have fuel or oil residue on the outside of the box during shipping will not be delivered by UPS or the postal service which will cause delays.

  • Please re-use boxes and bags that parts were shipped in originally. These boxes are UPS approved to reduce damage while being handled in freight.
  • All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer
  • Please write on the box “Core Return” and have RA # clearly written on the outside of box
  • Include copy of original invoice and RGA inside box
