Industrial Injection’s Unforgettable Time at the Great Salt Lake Truck Show

This year’s Great Salt Lake Truck Show was nothing short of spectacular, and Industrial Injection was thrilled to be part of such a vibrant and passionate community. The event was a true celebration of the heavy-duty diesel industry, bringing together some of the most innovative and unique custom semi-trucks from across the region. We were honored to showcase our latest projects and connect with fellow diesel enthusiasts in a setting that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the trucking world.

One of the most exciting aspects of the show was having the legendary Steve Darnell from WelderUp join us. Steve is a true icon in the custom truck world, known for his extraordinary creativity and ability to transform metal into works of art. His presence at the show was a huge draw, and the anticipation to see what he would bring was palpable. Steve did not disappoint—he rolled in with his jaw-dropping semi-truck, "El Diablo Loco."

"El Diablo Loco" is a truck that commands attention from the moment you lay eyes on it. With its rugged design, bold colors, and intricate details, it embodies everything that makes custom trucks so fascinating. The truck’s menacing appearance, combined with its impressive craftsmanship, made it a showstopper. Crowds gathered around to admire the intricate details, snap photos, and chat with Steve about his inspiration and the build process. It’s not every day you get to see a truck like this up close, and it was clear that "El Diablo Loco" left a lasting impression on everyone who saw it.

Not to be outdone, Industrial Injection proudly unveiled our newest project: the "JollyMon" truck. This rig brought something truly unique to the show—a tropical, island-inspired theme that was a refreshing contrast to the typically rugged and hardcore aesthetic of the diesel world. "JollyMon" was decked out in vibrant colors, featuring palm trees, ocean waves, and other island-themed elements that transported you to a beachside paradise. But what really set the mood was the soundtrack—Jimmy Buffett’s timeless tunes played on the stereo, adding to the laid-back, feel-good vibe that "JollyMon" exudes.

The response to "JollyMon" was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees were drawn to the truck’s unique theme and the way it stood out from the crowd. It wasn’t just a truck; it was an experience, a little slice of the island life brought to the Great Salt Lake Truck Show. People loved the attention to detail and the overall vibe, with many stopping by to tell us how much they appreciated the creativity and the break from the norm that "JollyMon" provided.

But beyond the trucks, what truly made the event special were the people we met. The Great Salt Lake Truck Show is more than just a display of incredible machinery; it’s a gathering of a community that shares a deep passion for the heavy-duty diesel industry. We had the opportunity to connect with so many like-minded individuals—custom semi-truck builders, dedicated truck drivers, and fans of the industry who came to admire the craftsmanship on display. The conversations were rich with shared stories, industry insights, and a mutual love for all things diesel. We were inspired by the dedication and creativity of everyone we met, and we left the show feeling more connected to the community than ever.

The show also provided a valuable opportunity to talk shop with others in the industry. We exchanged ideas, discussed the latest trends and innovations, and gained fresh perspectives on the future of diesel technology. It was a reminder of just how dynamic and forward-thinking the heavy-duty diesel community is, and we’re excited to see where the industry is headed.

As we reflect on our time at the Great Salt Lake Truck Show, we can’t help but feel grateful for the experience. It was an incredible weekend filled with beautiful trucks, great music, and even better company. We want to extend a huge thank you to the organizers of the show for putting together such a fantastic event and for allowing Industrial Injection to be a part of it. The opportunity to showcase our work, meet so many amazing people, and celebrate the heavy-duty diesel industry is something we will cherish.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s show and can’t wait to bring more exciting projects and ideas to the table. Until then, we’ll be hard at work, continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the diesel world. Keep those engines roaring, and we’ll see you on the road!
