Industrial Injection Returns to UCC 2026 | Bryton Williams' First Race Weekend
Industrial Injection Returns to UCC 2026: A New Chapter Begins
The 2026 Ultimate Callout Challenge at the world-famous Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in Brownsburg, Indiana, was one we'll never forget.
Not only is UCC the biggest and most prestigious diesel event in the country, but it also marked a major milestone for Industrial Injection. For the first time since the legendary Master Shredder made its mark on the track, we were back in competition and ready to start a new chapter.
A New Driver Takes the Wheel
This year, all eyes were on Bryton Williams, son of Industrial Injection owner Shane Williams. After spending the last year building his race truck and preparing for this moment, UCC 2026 would be Bryton's first time ever making a pass down a drag strip.
Bryton entered the highly competitive 72 Fast class, one of the most popular classes at UCC. Featuring a single-elimination bracket format, every pass counts and there is little room for error. Despite the pressure, Bryton lined up for his very first competitive pass and officially launched his racing career.
While his 72 Fast campaign came to an early end after the first round, Bryton wasn't ready to park the truck for the weekend. Determined to gain more experience and seat time, he entered the 6.7 class and spent the remainder of the weekend learning, improving, and gaining valuable track experience.
A Weekend Full of Firsts
Every pass down the track brought something new. From staging and launching to reading track conditions and dialing in the truck, Bryton experienced all the challenges that come with competitive diesel drag racing.
For a first-time racer, he handled the weekend exceptionally well. More importantly, he left Indiana with something every successful racer needs: experience.
The confidence gained, lessons learned, and excitement built throughout the weekend have only fueled his desire to become a serious competitor in the diesel racing world. With several passes now under his belt, Bryton is already looking ahead to the next race.
And as any racer knows, the off-season work never stops.
The next step? A turbo kit upgrade and a serious power increase as the team sets its sights on pushing the truck beyond the 3,000-horsepower mark.
The Fans Make It All Worth It
While the racing action was exciting, one of the best parts of UCC is always the people.
Throughout the weekend, the Industrial Injection booth was packed with diesel enthusiasts, longtime customers, friends, and fans from across the country. We had the opportunity to talk trucks, answer questions, share stories, and connect with the diesel community that has supported us for decades.
We also sold plenty of Industrial Injection merchandise and gave away some incredible prizes through our raffle. Several lucky winners went home with our custom Blackstone griddles, making for a memorable weekend both on and off the track.
Industrial Injection Powering Competitors Across the Field
While Bryton's first race weekend was a major highlight for our team, we were also incredibly proud to see Industrial Injection products helping competitors succeed throughout the entire event.
One of the most exciting stories of the weekend came from Matthew Parker, who captured the victory in the highly competitive 72 Fast class and took home the incredible $100,000 grand prize. Parker's winning combination was powered in part by our industry-leading XP600 fuel pump, proving once again that when performance matters, racers trust Industrial Injection to deliver.
Another standout performance came from the team at Black Diamond Performance. Competing against some of the toughest diesel racers in the country, they fought their way to an impressive 3rd Overall finish at Ultimate Callout Challenge 2026. Their truck relied on a wide range of Industrial Injection components, including one of our flagship Master Shredder Signature Series Engines.
Seeing customers and partners achieve success at the highest level of diesel motorsports is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. From drag racing and sled pulling to dyno competition, Industrial Injection products were represented throughout the UCC pits, proving their performance, durability, and reliability under the most demanding conditions imaginable.
Whether it was first-time racers gaining experience, seasoned competitors chasing championships, or teams competing for six-figure payouts, Industrial Injection was proud to be a part of their success stories all weekend long.
Looking Ahead
When the dust settled, UCC 2026 was a huge success for our team.
We witnessed the beginning of Bryton Williams' racing journey, reestablished Industrial Injection's presence on the drag strip, connected with thousands of diesel enthusiasts, and created memories we'll never forget.
Most importantly, it reminded us why we love this industry and the incredible community that comes with it.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, purchased merchandise, entered the raffle, cheered us on, and supported Industrial Injection throughout the weekend.
We're already looking forward to the rest of show season and can't wait to return to UCC next year.
Until then, be sure to check out our full UCC 2026 recap video on the Industrial Injection YouTube channel and follow us on social media for upcoming events, racing updates, and behind-the-scenes content.
